However I don't use that as an excuse. For what ever reason I was just not there and totally messed up the opening.

I certainly wasn't expecting it to turn into such a vicious attack. Most of my games from the White side of the English start pretty quietly.Pollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13747958243702670987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5114234807276194338.post-38675566222258963072010-05-08T01:57:47.740-04:002010-05-08T01:57:47.740-04:00When I stopped to think about your game, since you...When I stopped to think about your game, since you pointed out how quickly it ended, I did come up with those same exact 2 variations that your computer pointed out. Didn't take long, but still had to be conscientious.

It only goes to show how easy it is to lose a game of chess. The first thing a person has to do, I've learned, is to get "into the game." Certainly spend a lot of time if going to get agressive early, I mean 30 out of 90 minutes for just a few moves.

You are probably playing the most aggressive moves on principle, which doesn't save, particularly as Black.

The technique, not to sound crude, is more like you either have it already or you don't yet, so you don't have to save a ton of time for technique later in the game, IMO.LinuxGuyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15764940044950170053noreply@blogger.com
